-CHARACTERS-

G.A.L.E (Guided Astronavigation Logic Engine) - The Uncanny's navigational and systems AI who fell in love with her captain and mechanic. Though Petra calls herself captain, almost all ship operations are carried out by G.A.L.E. Her soft-robotics body provides both physical capability and unparalleled cuddlability.

Petra - A simple mechanic who fancies herself the swashbuckling "captain" of the Uncanny. After the entire original human crew of the were terminated by the Cyprez corporation,  with G.A.L.E's help she commandeered the vessel and became the vessel's captain in order to forever be with the girl in the computer.
